Congratulations to former patients Philip Westlake (left) and Natalie Bonaroti (right) for a great performance at the ZooZilla 5K at the Pittsburgh Zoo. It was a perfect morning to run and both Phil and Nattie finished first in their age group, earning the gorilla stuffed animal and a medal for their efforts. Well done- we are proud of you!

To qualify, patients had to have perfect attendance for the week of and the week following the holiday. Prizes were awarded on September 7th and included gift cards to Olive Garden, Sheetz and Giant Eagle. All-in-all, over 150 patients qualified at all six offices. ESSMC Sponsors “Beat the Heat” Road Race

Congratulations to the Franklin Regional Soccer Boosters for another wonderful event. 280 runners had a most pleasant morning for running. Justin Kurp, a former ESSMC patient, was the overall winner. Well done!

Sylvia Reed, DPT represented the practice at the race and she is pictured below discussing stretching exercises with a former patient.

Congressman on the Corner

Congressman Jason Altmire pictured with John Bonaroti in Murrysville. Congressman Altmire visited with constituents and engaged in very informative dialogue with community members as well as many Franklin Regional students on a beautiful spring Saturday. The students were especially impressed when Mr. Altmire volunteered to visit their school and speak to their American Civics class. Way to go Congressman!

Career Day at the Franklin Regional Middle School

Congratulations to the Murrysville Women's Club for another successful Career Day at the Franklin Regional Middle School. Pictured are ( l to r) patients Joyce Koga, Gail Lutz and Mary Bialota with John Bonaroti who spoke to 40 students about physical therapy and being a practice owner. This is the 10th year that John has participated in the Career Day.

Congratulations to the new U.S. Congressman Jason Altmire who will be sworn in on January 4th. Jason was a patient in our Monroeville office 20 years ago, and we are proud to have been a positive influence in his life. He demonstrated the same determination then as a patient that he has demonstrated recently in the political arena. We extend our best wishes to Jason for a successful career in Washington!
