Sara Sekerci received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh in 2007. She completed her clinical fellowship year within the Otolaryngology department of University of Pittsburgh Physicians at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital. Prior work experience is in acute care, inpatient rehab, and skilled nursing settings.
Sara is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association and holds a Clinical Certificate of Competence. She also holds PA certification in Speech & Language Impaired: K-12. Sara’s special interests within the field of speech-language pathology include neurogenic communication disorders, swallowing and swallowing disorders, ethics, and patient and caregiver education and counseling.
