Beth of East Suburban Sports Medicine is a practicing physical therapist currently seeing patients in our ESSMC Murrysville facility. She received her Master’s of Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University in 1991. She also holds a BS in Secondary Education from West Virginia University and an M.Ed. from the University of Virginia. Prior to her career in physical therapy, Beth worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer at the Division I and III collegiate levels.
Beth was a competitive swimmer for 13 years, specializing in backstroke and distance freestyle. Her brief career as a high school basketball player resulted in a torn ACL – and the subsequent rehab further fueled her interest in Sports Medicine.
Beth resides in Murrysville with her husband and three children. She enjoys attending all types of sporting events and is currently assisting with the sports medicine coverage for the Franklin Regional Middle School girls lacrosse team. Beth is also a member of the Newlonsburg Elementary Academic Advisory Council, and she oversees the Preschool Advisory Board at the First United Methodist Church of Murrysville.
